I still maintain that in some cases it is that Jon has just **** up his voice, but that overall it is a lack of effort. When he wants to turn it on (which tends to be just a couple of mins per show: examples, KTF, Someday I'll Be Saturday Night during the 2003 tour), but most of the time he doesn't try to push himself. I always think of Jon's voice at its best with the image of him busking somewhere: Moscow, London etc singing Wanted with a husky voice. Those who say "Jon's voice is better cos he doesn't have to take steroids... yadayada" - most of you sound like you're quoting from interviews of Jon rather than giving your own opinion.

I personally think that putting that husky voice on has part to do with him fuucking it up. Jon has never had a strong voice (as Richie for example) and trying to put on a voice that isn't his is never good news. Since the early days he has always strained his voice and now it is taking it's toll, just look at Bono, the same thing has happened there. He's still a class singer and performer, it's just something we have to get used to
