I have been a Jovi and Bruce fan for nearly 20 years. However I have to agree with Jons opinion on this. I couldnt name a recent song that Bruce has done.

However I do think Jon should have sounded a bit more diplomatic.

If Jon doesn't like the record, he doesn't like the record.

He was diplomatic enough. He said it didn't find its way back to his CD player. He didn't say it sucked. He didn't say Bruce took advantage of all that 9/11 disaster and people's fragile state of mind after that to profit his career. Did he? (That was not diplomatic.) He could have.

Ahhhh...believe 1/2 of what you see and none of what you hear. Even less of what you read. Maybe he said it, maybe not.

Unless you saw it, which you may have, who knows???

If he did say it, I say that was a dumb comment.

yes, a very stupid comment! why mess with the really big ones when he can be malicious against all does "nu-metal" bands.

Because it really is a great CD. Not to mention the lyrics are a heck of a lot better than:

Bounce, Bounce...blah, blah, blah.

I just think the album has a deep meaning that you don't find on Bounce. To say that he finds it "Okay" is an insult being that Bruce wrote a lot better songs on The Rising than BJ did.

why doesn't he "speak his own mind" through his own music then instead of writing pop trash?
