totally unsubstantiated rumor, one step from pure fabricated bullshit, place no credence in this, assume it is false

Jon didn't want Richie involved with the opening sketch, concerns over performance and sobriety and such, and he hadn't showed up for rehersal. Jon had words with Lorne over it and was extra pissed when it went to shit. Threatened to not sign release unless they could have a second song to make up for the faux pas, so now the Foos are pissed at having a song bumped and the whole cast adn crew are having to hang for extra shooting. So not only is there bad feelings between SNL and Jon but SNL and Foos and Foos and JBJ. Lorne vows never to have JBJ back but looks like a dick cause a few sketches are great and well liked. JBJ not invited to VH1 Honors the Who, backdoor whispers Lorne involved.
Offer made to bury hatchet on SNL alum show with another former SNL guest and producer.
