did u know that Jon admits to being very arrogant....

Jons got a big ego, most performers need to have one to get on stage...if they didnt have a high opinion of themselves/their performance they would hardly throw themselves into so much limelight...

Of course on stage, but off stage I would say he's stayed as 'normal' as anybody probably could in his position.
The previous poster was talking about in an interview situation not on stage.

An interview still counts as him being "on", because it's still his public persona. Unless you know him in his real, NOT-public life, all you're going off is the image he presents to the public.

Should be a good show will definatley tune in hope the rest of the guys are there too

I've seen/heard enough interviews over the years to get an idea as to whether he is big-headed or not.
Unless he 'acts' down to earth which would be pretty pointless!

he already admits to being big headed , the rest of the band rib him about this, call him arrogant to his face... I think the band know him better than anyone !

Why do you have a problem with him being big headed , arrogant or having a high opinion of himself ? Surely its better to have that than low self esteem.

Um, because people eat it up. The nice, down-to-earth, "fame hasn't affected me" guy gets way more respect than the asshole rock star.

You can't base your opinion of him on public interviews because he knows people will see/hear it so he keeps his "fame persona" on.

Maybe Jon is the most down-to-earth human alive. Maybe he's a big giant dick with no real friends. We don't know that, because we don't see him out of the public eye.

I've never heard the band or Jon referring to him being arrogant apart from ONSTAGE. If your a shrinking violet on stage you wouldn't make a very good rock star!
Of stage there is no need to be full of yourself and it is not a sign of low self-esteem.
I think arrogance and big-headedness is one of the least attactive things to find in anybody. That's why I can't stand the likes of Robbie Williams.
