Jon is entitled to support whoever he chooses. Lots of famous people help out politicians they support. If a person is stupid enough to vote for someone because ANYONE, not just someone famous tells them to, then they are too stupid to even be allowed to vote. KRB, not all of us in America are ignorant, uneducated simpletons who have our heads up our arses. Some of us are actually capable of making sound decisions based on facts rather than the opinions of others. It's just that the stupid ones get put on TV for the amusement of the rest of us.

The University of Pittsburgh is like 15 minutes from where I live! I sure hope I can get in!

Don`r be more saint then the pope..we all know when celebs say they support a political candidate it brings on more votes. That happened in the early days and does nowadays.

The celebrity endorsements go both ways. Schwarzenegger will support Bush, so who do you think will win? Terminator vs. Superman :P :P

Wouldn't it be funny if a ton of porn stars would come out and announce their endorsements with George Bush???? LOL. I think that would be hilarious - they'd be removed in no time.

I mean, who would vote for someone because Ben Affleck is for them? They’d have to be a blithering idiot. Generally, the blithering idiots are in the movie theaters on Election Day.” - Larry Sabato

Yes, he was. Elections are determined by electoral college, not popular vote and for good reason.

That is a great quote! And I hope idiots who do let celebrities and late night talk show hosts make their decisions for them are in the movie theaters on Election Day. IMO, if you don't know what you're voting for, you should stay home.

he didn't win Florida. He neither got popular nor electoral vote.

The supreme court made him president not the people.

Jon's actions will not influence my decision. Although it bugs me when he gets involved, he has a right to do so. I would be happier if more celebrities spent their time on just getting people to vote period. Only one third of Americans vote.
