So, it's an artist's fault if his/her fans are too stupid to think for themselves?

I get annoyed with entertainers getting involved in politics too, but the fact is it's their right to do so. As long as Jon or some other artist I PAY to see isn't telling me how to vote, I don't think they're crossing any ethical lines. Now, if I pay for a concert and get an ad campaign for a candidate (whether I agree or not), I will think they crossed a line. But what Jon is doing is free and/or clearly labeled as a political campaign. He's exercising his rights as a citizen to support his candidate.
