Default Jon on the Today Show this morning

I saw a brief interview with Jon this morning--even briefer because my stupid satellite flipped out. Maybe it was the network. Katie looked really confused when the picture came back. Anyway. Jon said he was co owner of the new expansion team Philadelphia Soul. The name comes from the musical term "Soul" made famous by somebody, but I don't remember the name. He said he wanted a unique name for a unique team, and a name that would mean something internationally. He didn't want to use the typical Lions, and Tigers, and Bears or Cubs. The team colors are graphite or gun-metal gray and baby blue. He's the first celebrity owner. Then blip.... picture screwed up.

It was the network. One of my students was watching and said it cut out on her too.

Just before I was left for work I was channel surfing and came across Jon on the Today show. Of course I frantically pushed record on my vcr. This was about 7:40 a.m. EST. It was quite short, but they said they would be back with more with Jon later, so I set the vcr to tape for the rest of the show. I haven't watched my tape yet. When I do I'll let you know if we lost the feed too. We get the Boston NBC station.
