Aloha !

They'll play a song from the new album, and maybe another classic from the days they weren't so focussed on "writing stories".

When Jon wants to show of his writing capabilities he'll show up with Joey since that song was obviously the best story telling song Dylan, er, I mean Jon could come up with. According to Jon.

Salaam Aleikum,

"Joey" is a good song - though a rip-off of Elton Johns "Levon" - which Jon covered himself once!

Of ALL the examples they could've used for Desmond Child, they pick "Livin' La Vida Loca"?

That's gross.

Music wise it's a copy of Levon. However, read the lyrics of Dylan's Joey and you'll get my point about Dylan. There's nothing original about Bon Jovi's Joey.

TLFR was elevator music.... LH has good lyrics and music. They may not be their best ever lyrics but they are still classed as good.

Lyrics may be ok but I d rather have crappy lyrics and great music instead of the other way around. If I want some poetry I go and buy a book and no BJ CD.
