The key changed from E to G right? It's insane high. Imagine the whoho after the key change of Prayer and then sing an entire chorus in that range.

Don't think it was pitched. There is no sense in pitching a demo.

Default Jon's Vocal Range

Hello to all fellow friends & fans of bonjovi!

U guys probably never listen enough or maybe u all never noticed......

Believe me coz i got a major in voice and i can tell da highest notes that jon ever hit in recordings....

In da NEW JERSEY album, there r three songs that showed jon's trademark falsetto scream. That's why i say jon was one of da best late80s/early90s rock vocalist(in the hard rock genre).
1) Homebound Train (E6 on piano,Flageolet or whistle tone)
2)I'll Be There For You (D6 on piano)
3)Living in Sin (D6 on piano)

Whistle range or register starts at E6.The E6 jon hit in homebound train is like da E6 Steven tyler hit in da song "Crazy" at da end.

I've got da homebound train & living in sin rough demos and jon really does those falsetto notes.U can say jon can hit notes like da ones a male soprano would do.There is one new jersey demo..title is Let's make it baby...i think he even went a semitone or a whole tone higher than E6.

Ah yes, Lets make it baby - forgot about that one. Theres some shockingly high notes/screaming on that record.

And ive always love the notes Tyler hits at the end of Crazy, theyr insane!

I thought 'Let's Make It Baby' was from These Days era - at least that's what my version says on Media Player after I picked it up. The general sound and lyrics don't fit well with the mid 90s sound though to be honest so it wouldn't surprise me if the listing details on my version are incorrect.

Nah, its on the These Days bonus disc but its definately a NJ era recodring. The vocals are very raw, and well its basiclly a dirty soft porn track - no way did the band record it in the mid 90s!

I read somewhere that the guys wrote that song after spending some time with Prince in the late 80s.

What concert is that Livin on a Prayer bit from? Obviously from the SWW tour. Sounds amazing.
