It's because The Circle bombed in the US, that's the reason.

At least you have a choice. Traveling got you tired? Take a friggin' nap on the plane. I wish I could lie down on the floor in my office and take a snooze.
+1

It get's on my nerves too. He can take a break, then just freaking take it and stop moaning about it. We can't take a break, and we work way harder and win so much less. They're one of the highest grossing tours out there and they complain?

I believe he's tired of music. Personally, I think it shows on the post 2000 records, where only 1 or 2 songs are good from each one. I think he/they just don't wanna do it anymore, but they make so much money that they keep doing it even though they know they sell shit.

I think they really need a long break after this tour to go and to their own thing and get some new inspiration. It's long overdue but I think the record company is also pushing them. I'm sure they signed a great deal and now they have to pay back.

The thing is though, I can't understand how he can feel exhausted. I really can't. He mentions how he travels a lot, has to sleep in hotels and everything, yet his touring schedule leaves a lot of room for off time. Just look at the official touring schedule that started this February.

February: 8 shows
March: 16 shows
April: 14 shows
May: 4 shows
June: 15 shows
July: 13 shows
August: Time off
September: 3 shows
October: 4 shows
November: 1 show
December: 8 shows
January: Time off

So that's 84 shows in 1 year, meaning he has roughly 2/3 of the year off. Or even if you want to exaggerate 1/3 of the year off. And he complains about being tired? Most people have about 3 weeks off per year. Jon is just not used to working anymore, and has no clue of what the working man he sings about is going through. He sleeps in beds and rooms on day to day basis in hotels while most people don't even have that luxury at home. Sure, it gets lonely but **** it, for 250.000 dollars per show I wouldn't be complaining. And if it's so hard, don't ****ing do it.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
Exactly.

Jon's biggest problem is he hates promotion. Again, part of the job. I hate sitting in boring-ass meetings for 2 hours sometimes, but it's part of my job.

If he doesn't enjoy the album-tour process anymore, as said, don't do it. But don't bitch about it either. I wish I had his schedule.

I think the circle extended tour to GH is to much, they should have had a break and come back next year fresh.

JBJ moaning he is tired.... he is a CEO of a major corproation , its more than just a band on the road.... of course he is tired someone wants a piece of you every minute of every day.. so there is no rest... Even when you book time off there is always some drama that you end up dealing with ! I bet there are many time he wishes his job was just 9-5

Finally, someone said it. I work hard everyday for far less than Jon does, but I'm not naive enough to run around saying he has it easier than I do. If your job is as the CEO/President of a major corporation and you are posting here about Jon whining... fair enough. My own Company CEO's/Presidents look like they have had multiple strokes/heart attacks due to the responsibility they carry. They don't get to clock out and go home like I do.

Neither does my boss. But he never complains about the work he has. He works about 80 hours a week, is always available yet I never hear him complain because he knows it's the life that he chooses. His work is his life and in the end he loves it. I've known him for 10 years now and he's never bitching about how he has to work so many hours. And really, do you honestly believe that when the band has a month off Jon is working around the clock? Do you believe that on those days Jon gets up at 7 in the morning and goes to bed at 12 at night?

Further on, my boss doesn't make an average of 5.000 dollar per day, and your company's CEO probably doesn't either. Jon does and can pretty much buy anything he wants yet my boss can't. Do I hear him complain? No. Never.

The thing is though; my boss can't have someone else do it for him. He needs to be around. Jon can hire someone to do it for him. He chooses not to, and then decides to complain on how tired he is. I don't get it. It's like speeding on purpose and then complaining on how fast you're going.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I don't see Jon's "I'm tired" as some seem to take it in the literal meaning.

Jon's "I'm tired" in my opinion is the excuse he is using to put Bon Jovi on the shelf for a year or two. He has something he probably wants to do more at this point. He said himself he still desires to be involved with the NFL (ownership) and/or do a solo record and record music outside of the confines that is Bon Jovi.

I agree that Jon's bitching is annoying, but I don't think his "I'm tired" is in the literal sense of "I work too hard." I think it's more a "I'm trapped in touring and what goes with it." which is why this band NEEDS a break.
