No, it is comes off as being honest and not an ass kisser. He is calling it like he sees it, and it is the truth.

Well, Tom Cruise and Paris Hilton are quite easy targets when it comes to bashing: virtually no one will disagree with Jon on this matter.

Which is the reason why the Bob Dylan comments are beginning to annoy me. Mr 100.000.000 records who's taken the easy way out for the past 5 years whines about how sad it is that the next Bob Dylan will never show up. Aw...poor Jon, he just jumped on the bandwagon, people have said this for about 5 years right now.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

actually he's done some great bashing inthe past. He even is in the MetalSludge top something list with some of his comments. Like what he said about The Darkness...that's top class

But I don't get the Bob Dylan thing - what was that supposed to mean? BD didn't get enough attention throughout his career? Hello.......

Yeah I saw the interview. I agree 100% with what Jon says there. However having watched a recent documentary on Bob Dylan I think he's had enough attention to last him for a life time. Bob is a great songwriter and when he was releasing protest songs in the 60s he had loads of people after him to lead protest movements and it eventually got too much for him. I bet he wouldn't wanna be so much in the limelight again.
