Just out of curiosity once, a friend of mine rang several insurance companies to find out how much it would cost to insure a newly qualified, 17-year-old driver as the second driver of their parents Dodge Viper (his parents didn't actually have one, it was just for a laugh!)

All but one wouldn't even offer a quote and the one that did said £12 000 a year!!! Ha!
