do you think it just takes a while for his voice to 'warm up' and improve during tours? or maybe he had coaching??
I've heard that he had coaching but honestly his voice was outstanding in Europe. Always, Bed Of Roses, Lie To Me, I Believe, This Ain't A Love Song, Hey God all popped up and were pretty much fautless vocally. Another good thing about Jon's voice being better is that we will probably only get original performances now, rather than having most ballads in their 'TLFR' form, which I do like but they can't compare to the originals.

Those are some more recent threads on his voice, and how it improved. There's lots from different years as well, which you may be interesting, including a great one from 2003 about how if Alec was sacked for being bad at bass, should Jon be sacked for being bad at singing. Seb probably made it

Anyway, knock yourself out.

I think he had vocal coaching which has helped him out i think. His voice was much better as the tour went on and by the time they came to Europe, his voice was brilliant.

Excellent! Nobody thought he could sing anything ever again then he proves them wrong.

Just hoep his voice is in the same shape next tour.

Great! It only took him about 60-70 some shows to warm up vocally! Those who saw Bon Jovi before those shows were not so fortunate.

I wasn't necessarily talking about myself. I'm more or less thinking about those that paid all that money in Newark for shit and the fact that Australia got pretty screwed over. They started hitting their stride about halfway through the U.S. and gave great performances in Europe.

As for me, I've just accepted the fact that whenever I go to see them, I'm basically going to get the same set plus or minus whatever songs they are promoting at the time.

I'm not sure I know what you are talking about but if you mean that North America, if you were to look at the setlists, you'd find that a large percentage have just been average with a few decent setlists.

Yeah fair enough, but on the second leg it's mixed around a lot more and they do throw in the occassional surprise every now and then. You're right though, North America doesn't get what Europe does and that's wrong.
