Anyway what I meant is more about the comment by Gaz when he said where's Jon's looks have gone. I said he had gotten to big for himself cause he no lo0nger looks that slim but more well, strong and wide chested. Rock stars look cool skinny, IMO, the crush/One wild night era is when he looked more the part.
LMAO I think of that Joey quote alot..lol And it is true...remeber poor Phoebe trying to prove him wrong..lol

Going by the articles I have read about the cologne, Jon didn't design the fragrance did he? Just some jackets? And he is just the face of it.
I tend to steer away from celebrity fragrances, I find that they aren't as nice as other ones on the market.

...I read the thread and thought..."NO"!

...Yeah I know it's for a good cause...But hello!.. Jon wants the World to take him seriously and respect him for his music...The critics are going to love this one!...and with him publically dissing J Lo...I'll be able to see the perfumes next to each on the shelf!!!

right now jon is trying too hard, i know its all for a good cause but theres better ways of giving money than through publicity

Well said.

Like the million dollars for Oprah - why make such a fuss about how much it was? Just say - we are giving a generous donation and this is what our money has done, we would like people to help out etc. That is all they need to do in my opinion. I don't like celebrities going on about how much money they donate. It is almost like the more money they give the nicer people will think they are. Keep it private..
It's the same with them going on about their religous beliefs - eg Tom Cruise.

I was just about to say that, then I saw your post lol. I definitely think he is incredibly humble. The man is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

He gave his reasons for publicly giving the money on OPrah. He said he wanted people to be aware on the class issue so that is why he did it. Not to big note himself. He just wanted people to follow the story and learn more about what happened. I think he just uses his status to get the word out there. How that can be a bad thing is beyond me. He hasn't gotten egotistical at all. I just don't see that.
