I think Jon should have been the one to talk, he is the Lead singer in the band hence he is the leader and he should be the one to talk for the band. It would look stupid if Tico was the one talking. Steve would have talked for Aerosmith and Mick would have talked for the Stones thats the way it works. He sings its's pretty important; ie. It's Jon's band.

What i did think was funny was that Hugh didn't get an award and he had to stand on stage with the rest of them with no award. Man they could of at least gave him a fake award so he didn't look like such a dope.

I'm glad that they got enough time for them to thank everyone they thanked. It wouldn't have been feasible for the all to speak. And at least they got to say something. Poor Kenny Chesney got cut off when he got Entertainer of the Year at the CMA's the other night. He's been in the business for 12 years, finally got his first CMAs that night and then didn't get to say two sentences. Yet, not 10 minutes prior one of the presenters mentioned that they were stalling because the show was running ahead of schedule. Bon Jovi got a lot of time given how many speeches and performances there were.

WOW! What more could i say? BJ was really really great that night! I got out early from my job to catch the show, to see the guys perform before the celebrities and to accept the award. I am so happy for them, they really really deserve the award, its been a long time, that's the only thing missing in their career! they're not prone to speeches in an awards ceremony, they were a little bit ashamed IMO! and the voice of Jon? ahh....it changed! but all in all...it was great! they rocked the place!

Trust the sorry excuses for human beings infesting this board to take a guy giving heart felt thank yous to the people who've backed him up for the last 20 years and try and villanise him. Bravo. I bet your mammas would be proud.
