Seemingly there are several people who don't understand Jon's can-you-bent-it-like-Beckham-joke(me among them )

i dunno quite wot he said, but bend it like beckham is used cos of the way he bends his free kicks, hence 'bend it like beckham'....plus a film here was called that too. so i guess tieing a knot is....different

to tie the knot means to get married (english slang)

so jon says that push spice (victoria) asks jon if he is able to bend the shoots like beckham (i think it means if jon is a professional in his job, like beckham is a pro in his job), and jon says maybe im not pro, but im good for getting married and take the girls with me (jon is more professional than beckham at getting girls attentions )

i think it means like this...

there was film called "bend it like Beckham"

Jon is simply making a play on the title and thus making a slightly sexual reference + the same time... ok ??

its really not that hard

This is what he meant! it has nothing to do with the film as the phrase was around long before the film!! But I guess it was made more popular because of the film. Jon was being facetious by saying "baby I can tie the knot" meaning he can not only bend it like Beckham but he can it in a knot as well!!

hope that helps.
