It's one of my favorite performances
Now THAT is the Jon that I miss. That was awesome.

In these arms & Never say goodbye from 2015. The man could still sing (and play guitar!).

2016 must have really been a tough year for him....

You can slice these two acoustic performance up by saying that 'Jon can still sing' but it does show that a half acoustic / half electric show might be the way to go...

In addition to the Birmingham '13 performance of Always, the version from the previous night in Manchester was quite good as well:

Manchester, Birmingham, Slane Castle, Milan and London in June-July '13 must have been the last BJ gigs where Jon honestly sounded "good".

Quite good and passionate Blood On Blood performance from late '13 where his voice had already gone downhill rapidly:

Bon Jovi - Blood On Blood - Dallas, TX - Oct 16 2013 - YouTube
Yeah, that's a good version. And I have to say that even though Jon's voice had already declined significantly in October '13, even compared to the previous summer, he still sounded much better than he does today. Hell, I'd actually be very happy if Jon sounded like that in South America!

How the standards have dropped...

PS. The whole Dallas show was probably one of the best gigs of the whole BWC tour (at least in the USA), even though Jon was sounding relatively rough already. For example, the guys performed a kick-ass version of Bad Medicine there (and Jon was still able to sing it without sounding like his balls were being squeezed at the same time):

I was going to post this one as well Dave, good choice. This performance is one of the few in recent years that have made me proud... of the band and of Jon. You can see him trying to push himself and regain some swagger. On this version, (https://youtu.be/KOWXkXZf_go), at 7:33, you can see Tico and Dave look at each other and you can almost make out them smiling after Jon hits that "..bed of NAIIILLLLSS!"

Love this rendition.

That Bed Of Roses is without a doubt one of the best 2017 performances, but one of the best post 2011 performances!? Not even close for me....
