it's "to burgle" isn't it really though, let's be honest. Burglarized sounds absolutely ridiculous

I've never heard anybody say the word "burgle". That sounds more ridiculous to me than "burglarized", which isn't really strange to me. Must be an American term.

I believe "burglarized" is American and "burgled" is British.
