Bon Jovi aren't the only band to throw covers into their set regularly. Most bands that play excessive world tours will play songs that aren't their own night after night. Be it Bruce, Pearl Jam, U2...and so on.
I've got to say, I'm a fan of the Bon Jovi jukebox moment, as predictable as they are nowadays - Jumpin' Jack Flash, Pretty Woman, etc. are a bit of fun. They're a hundred, million times better than some of the songs that will follow/came before them - Capt. Crash, We Got It Going On, etc.
Bon Jovi are a bit above modern covers. I concur with most other people in this thread, I'd rather hear a classic song than some unknown Rihanna song.
