Jon's voice has killed Bon Jovi

Just watch his face as he tries to hit the high parts of the chorus in These Days. He looks like he is in pain. And he sounds shit. He cannot sing anymore. He has lost it.

I just opened one of your links to see what you came up with, and it was Bad Medicine. It starts with the chorus, in which Jon doesn't sing the first "Baaad Medicine" but let's the crowd do it, the second time he does it himself but no in the same key as the crowd, and the other times are again the crowd. As soon as he starts the "Iiiii ain't got a fever..." the "Iiii" is out of key.

So far for a good vocal performance.

I'm being serious when I say, has anyone here recorded themselves singing any of the songs you think Jon is shit on? I'd love to hear a better performance since Jon's vocals are such crap now.

I say just replace Jon all together with a better singer.

it´s true that jon lost a lot of his voice performance, i could start cryin´while watching the live from london dvd and comparing it to now...
but what can we do, all i can say is, i still like jon´s vocals alot, not that much like back the days, but Jon is still one of my favorite singers. and hey, it´s Jon Bon Jovi´there on stage...all that matters....

If you read the discussion properly than you'd see this is a discussion about Jon's vocals. I know you'll defend Bon Jovi with everything they do so you are definately not objective on this one.

She can't because she's a ****ing moron. If she'd actually go and see other rock bands with stunning vocalists, she'd realize that there's more in the world than the ****ed up voice of Jon Bon Jovi.

Actually this isnt true. This threads title is" Jon's voice has killed Bon Jovi" so this isnt actually a discussion about Jons voice about how shitty Jons voice is these days, which isnt very objective either.
Dont get me wrong, I totally agree with the original point being made that Jons voice is nowhere near wehere it once was. But his voice has been the way it is right now for more than 7 years by now(with the strange exception of OWN tour).
Time to get over it methinks (allthough it is hard, I must admitt)

They just have to kick Jon out of the band and let Richie do the leadvocals, it's dead easy. His performance of Stranger at one of the Newark shows is simply stunning and blows Jon away by more than a mile in my opinion.

And that's where you're wrong. Fans were shocked at how bad his voice had gotten after These Days, while the One Wild Night Tour had better vocals. After that, it all went downhill. Jon's vocals during the HAND tour were nowhere near as good as the ones on the Crush Tour.

Alright, anyone with brain would agree that Jon's voice is nothing compared to what it used to be.

So the question is: is Jon a victim of something he has no control or he's the one to blame ?
