jon still has a great voice true but he is totally destroying his talents due to smoking. true, he's gettin on a bit but if he didn't smoke then he could still hit those notes.
these days at hyde park proved that he has gone downhill it sounded crap.
some songs just can't be done anymore because he can't sing them and this will have an effects to the fans at shows. if he can't sing the songs the fans want then what'll happen?

For god sake hes older now his voice wos gonna change wosnt it. I think his voice is still really nice, Doesnt matter if he cant hit the high notes to me. Would be nice if he could tho..

Contrary to popular belief he's actually singing properly now whereas he hsn't in the past.

TECHNICALLY he's singing better even if he isn't hitting the high notes but It bears reminding that had he kept straining his voice then there's a good chance he would have none whatsoever now.

It's more to do with him not being used to straining and hitting high notes any more than him not being able to do it.

I'm pretty sure if he stoppe dbreathign properly and using proper technique then he could wail away all night.
