Nah, Jovi on a good day are still better live. Sure, Tyler has a better voice nowadays but Jovi have the better songs. And Richie would have joe Perry for breakfast.

Still looking forward to Aerosmith here in June though, cant wait!

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

I am wondering what you base your assessments on. Have you ever seen them live?

I heard many times that even if Steven Tyler is great live the whole Aerosmith show is not as interacting as jovi is ... not sure I am really loving the Jon felting up sessions on stage 3 or 4 times per show and if this is what other call interactions then i can live without it anytime but I am thinking that it's more like Steven Tyler (I am talking about the lead singer only here) is not WITH the audience BUT he is there performing and the audience watch ..not sure I am explaining right ... I hope you understand what i mean ... i will tell you about that after i see Aerosmith in june in paris then i'll be able to compare

Well, from what I've seen on video, they are by far the most entertaining band I have ever seen and not comparable to recent Bon Jovi. I can't wait to see them in Hyde Park

Same that you base yours on - DVDs and bootlegs from numerous shows, as Aerosmith never bother their assess touring over these parts anymore so thats all I can go on.

And as I said, Bon Jovi have the songs - which make them immediately better to me and enhances the live show tenfold.
Aerosmith are an excellent live band, but all bands at this level should be. I prefer bon jovi.

And yes, Richie would indeed eat Joe for breakfast.

I saw both Jovi and Aerosmith live on recent tours(in fact within a month of each other) and Jovi was superior by miles. Tyler's voice has held up better than Jon's but Aerosmith's live show is nowhere near as entertaining. Jon's a better showman these days than Tyler and Richie blows Perry out of the water in every aspect.

Aerosmith were solid but rather disappoiting(especialy since I'm a big fan) while Bon Jovi were excellent(not to mention they played an hour longer).

I think that what i said was that I heard that steven tyler was less interacting with the crowd cmpare to jovi he is way much into his own private musical trip with his band mates on stage and the public was not as much included emotionaly that what they are with JOVI - this said i added that if interaction with jovi means gropping session i would get ride of them in a heart beat with jovi this is not interaction in my book just circus - i couldn't care less if steven kiss ppl or not this is not gonna make him more connected with his audience ..... and I didn't mean that if steven is thought as distant with the audience it means he doesn't let the fans grop him .. LOL this is steven tyler we are talking about dont assume i don't know who is mr tyler he is still wearing spandex and seems very comfortable in his shoes ....
