He means that most likely a lot of fans will show up because there's no entrance fee, so it makes it a lot more interesting for fans to travel for it.

ok thanks for explaining me ... I am not that sure that there won't be tcikets to get or stuff like that ... free doesn't mean really open ... and it's not bon jovi who is playing for free but Miller who is paying bon jovi and Miller decided to make the festivity FREE and open to the community .. it's thought not sure it's open to the bon jovi fans .. ok it's more open than borgata or Vegas TRUE !!! I ADMIT IT IT'S WAY MORE COOL ... but I am am cautious about the fans being able to be there easily .... the Q&A said it 's a MILLER GIG .... it's not a bon jovi promo I think ...

thought like Vane said already I'd love some company hiring the guys here too !!!

Let's just complain about everything they do. They play a casino and charge $200 a ticket. Complain. They play a FREE show. Complain. It sounds to me like it's going to be of those things that is open to the public if you can get in--like a cityfest, only this one is soley sponsored by a beer company. Every other city fest has many sponsors. It's pretty cool for the Milwaukee area that they're getting an act as big as Bon Jovi to do it. But, by all means, let's complain about it because it's not in our own backdoor. You know, I live in the USA and I GIVE UP on them ever playing in my state again. I've got to travel to pay to see them. Why the hell would I complain about traveling to see them play for free? Not that I intend to do so. They could just stay at home and do nothing instead. At least this way someone gets to see them. They played 3 or 4 shows in Wisconsin on the last tour. So much for the theory that WI is only inhabited by dairy cows, mosquitos, and Ann Marie. It's obviously one of their best markets and it's good promotion for them to do a gig there.

Becky oh that's cool then if it's a city fest open to the general public ... (I really didn't read that well not exactly that way but as I don't know anything about those festivity I just read the english .. it's really written it's done to miller employes miller partners and the milwaukee community it's not mentionned to the BON JOVI fans from NJ california Pennsylvania but Milwaukee ) .. it's organized and paid by Miller beer that doesn't mean Bon Jovi is performing for free that means the ppl going to the festival won't have to pay to get a ticket ... I'd love to be from Milwaukee to be able to be there ... Becky you should go you know ... I really mean it ... I bet you'll find some jovi friends in that area who will find you a ticket - it's free but I assume there will be TICKETS ... 300000 it's alot ... every fan will have a good chance to get a free ticket....

What other bands hav been announced??
are they gonna be giving free gold jewerly?!?!?

people are gonna be lined up to see a Bon Jovi show like it or not.
Millir is sponsoring it but it's pretty easy to see why miller picked BJ to do this, they get the public.

Hell it's free, open to the [public, tickets will be given there.
I really don't see what the hell there is to complain about.

and you did read correctly. It is NOT open to the general public in the sense that anybody can attend. It IS for the Miller employees and families, partners and some other random people. You WILL need a ticket - even though that ticket is free - and the tickets will be handed out on a selective basis.

it's 30,000 not 300,000 and i doubt that every fan will have a good chance to get a free ticket.

Miller has about 6,500 employees - they'll all bring spouses and probably some 2,000 kids. That makes 15,000. Then you have a bunch of Miller partners with spouses and kids, then the remainder tickets will be somehow raffled off or otherwise given away. Still, I don't think tickets will be easy to come by.

Best bet is to get on match.com and find a single Miller employee who is desperately looking for a date to his company festival.

.... and to think we had the Little River Band playing at ours....

It's all about the money. The band will be promoting soap powder soon if the price is right. Sorry but all these appearances scream 'Sell Out' to me.

Great, it's free, whoopy doo.

This was my first impression too. I didn't get it was a show "open" to everyone. Of course there will be people inside Miller who may have access to more tickets with friends willing to go as well and so on...I wonder if there will be tickets appearing eventually on ebay...

Oh thank you for mentionning that I hear you loud and clear !!! ... I mean maybe we would feel differently if they decided to sell out soap powder **HERE** but as long as it's NOT THE CASE for me it's like a slap in the face ... I'd love to be just happy like the ppl who will be going to milwaukee because they would play FOR US but as they are not I cannot ignore the system .... and the $$$ message ... ok it's free that's right but I doubt they are okaying for free ... like you said for $$$ they can promote anything
