If I Was Your Mother is not one of their best songs ever. I am a metal fan and like their heavier songs but this one sucks, it's trying too hard to be something they're not. Save A Prayer on the other hand has one of Jon's best vocals ever although I can do without the gospel intro. It's a shame it's gone this early but let's face it there's some serious classics still to come so it was never going to come close to winning. I'm going for If I Was Your Mother and once this is gone I Want You should be next.
