Default Keep the faith jungle screams

Hi,

I was wondering when was the last time Jon performed those amazing screams. I know that he did them in 2003 Toronto.

Also, how does he do that? I find hard even to try to imitate it.

Also, freaking great scream at 3:40 here:

Thanks

When did Jon stop being a rock-star and start becoming an image of his old self?

Vocal issues or not, you watch those performances and see the passion he once had as a performer. Now his is a business man going through the motions, pretending to be the guy he once was. With his fake smiles and staged shows, the old JBJ is a thing of the past.

I think the 2008 European tour had a few examples but 2003 was a great year for KTF. Not just the Jungle screams but the big boom version which is still my favorite. As far as I know, the big boom version hasn't been heard since 2003, and then only 5 or 6 times

Here is a great example complete with screams and booms: a nine minute extravaganza (Anaheim 2003)

You know what the crazy thing is?

Seven months after that performance, they released This Left Feels Right.

Why is that crazy?

The performances they did in Japan for the original intended acoustic album were excellent!!!

TLFR wasn't a bad concept. It was done in Jon's home studio with horrible production and it was rushed. If Jon threw down some decent vocals which he was still capable of, mixed with a decent production, some of those sounds could have been much better.

What happened to Jon? I'm just as bored as everyone else when it comes to talking about his vocal problems but when you look at this, you can't help but be puzzled.

Them screams were absolutely amazing. Even the big booms, surely he can do this still? It's little things like that which is what we all miss about the band. We all know he can't sing well now and we all know that he has gone lazy, but surely he can still do something like this without breaking a sweat?

If only Jon viewed these videos himself and had a bi of a wake up call...

KTF from this last tour has the extended outro with everyone getting a solo which is cool though.

They were not. Jon had a REALLY bad cold in Yokohama and sounded shit.

Take this as an example:

Always

If I remember correctly, several of the songs (including Always and Misunderstood) had to be played multiple times because Jon didn't think he had done them justice.
