I was thinking about this this morning, typed it all down, and though I'm sure we all know it already, when you read it, it's kind of funny:

In 1984, actor/singer Jack Wagner releases a top 10 soft rock single, "All I Need".
In 1986, Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue, accuses then girlfriend, Vanity, of having an affair with Jack Wagner.
In 1987, Nikki Sixx writes a song called "You're All I Need", a song about a man killing his girlfriend, and an obvious reference to Jack Wagner. The song appears on the Girls, Girls, Girls album, and is released as a single/video. The video is banned from MTV due to content, and radio refuses to play it, also due to content.
