I was thinking about this this morning, typed it all down, and though I'm sure we all know it already, when you read it, it's kind of funny:

In 1986, Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue, accuses then girlfriend, Vanity, of having an affair with Jack Wagner.
In 1987, Nikki Sixx writes a song called "You're All I Need", a song about a man killing his girlfriend, and an obvious reference to Jack Wagner. The song appears on the Girls, Girls, Girls album, and is released as a single/video. The video is banned from MTV due to content, and radio refuses to play it, also due to content. Meanwhile, Jon Bon Jovi is quoted as saying "it is one of the best rock ballads ever written."
In 1986, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, marries Heather Locklear.
In 1993, Tommy Lee and Heather Locklear divorce.
