one of my favourite songs but live it turns into a kind of gospel session during the chorus, not the loud - rockin sound we all love on nj.

Agreed. I've said it a zillion times before, but the live version lacks energy, has the keyboard far too high in the mix (and the guitar far too low), and I've never seen a performance where Jon has pulled off the vocals. The intros and the solos are cool, but the song itself never seems to work live

Would much rather see loads of other rarities performed: just from New Jersey I'd rather see Wild Is The Wind, Homebound Train, Livin' In Sin, I'll Be There For You with Jon on vocals, or Stick To Your Guns. Not to say that I don't love the studio version of LYHOM, cos I do, but live it just isn't great
