Of both songs I prefer the live versions a lot. The version of LYHOM which they played recently in Frankfurt was a bit weird, so I'm undecided... both songs are fun to hear on a BJ show. Maybe I'd go for LYHOM, as that song can really kick ass. Especially with the long intro. And I love the "Welcome to Johnny's church of R'n'R" part too.

Lay Your Hands On Me. But I get that with the medleys, Sleep may be better to hear live. But for the actual original songs - LYHOM by far. I do like Sleep, but it's not got that big sound that is so awesome.

What kind of a version of LYHOM did they play in Frankfurt, then? Have they changed it somehow?

Was Lay Your Hands On Me in Frankfurt not the standard version?

Aloha !

Yes it was but the drum intro was shortened because the band sort of ****ed up the backing vocals and Jon couldn't get into it so he cut it off and commanded the band to get to the song.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I have to check on youtube if I find it. I realized that they went from the intro straight into the rock verse, but not that it was because of someone messing it up. The other thing was Daves keyboard sound, that was somehow strange and not how it used to be.

Yeah, I agree. Though Live in London it was pretty good. But I've never been crazy about Sleep, so I would take LYHOM.
