Let it Rock Intro?

I didn't like Let It Rock fot many years. I was always skipping it as well as Social Disease. I fell in love with that song after watching my first show from Jersey tour (man - the best tour ever!) in Philadephia 1989. The intro is great, great work of David but to be honest it isn't good opener - I mean the song. Maybe that's why they opened with Pink Flamingos and Raise Your Hands instead of Let It Rock. They stopped playing it after the Jersey tour because it wasn't hit single and wanted to be more serious (because of the lyrics). I don't thing they'll return to perform this one anymore. Jon isn't able to sing it anyway. But Raise Your Hands were big surprise in 2001 and in 80s they played Let It Rock on both tours regularly, Raise Your Hands only on SWW tour and few times on NJ...statictics are useless anyway

To me it's sad how that handful of whiners and complainers influence this board's reputation. But it's like that with everything as they usually make the most noise.

For what it's worth, I've never liked LIR.
It's by far the worst first track on any of their albums (Slippery and post albums anyway.)

Better a handful af whiners than a whole lot of those who praise everything BJ does.

I'm just curious I guess. Because there aren't too many people here who praise everything the band does. I certainly don't. Deb come closes but she genuinely digs what the band does.

I find Let It Rock one of greatest Bon Jovi songs. Powerful Pink Flamingos... Guitar riff that make me have thrills.. And Alec's bass.. Just an earthquake.. This is one of greatest Hard 'n' Heavy anthems of all time. And King Of Swing's kick-ass solo... Great song and great opener. For album and for the show.
