HAND doesn't have any song as wimpy as those.
Yes it does, Bells of Freedom, Wildflower, These Open Arms... There are fewer, but there are still some.

When you see Jon, ask him! I would guess because 1) It sounds really good and 2) Jon's voice is lower now and there's no need to record it much higher and have to sing it that way night after night when it sounds just as good the way it is. Criticising Jon for not singing as high anymore is like criticising him for not being 25 anymore. Ok, smoking dose play a part but it's mostly just down to age.

I think for that particular song it fits the lyrics, and the standing point of the "narrator", better in a low tone than it would in a higer one.
Though musically I'd prefer it higher, rawer and more powerful to fit the riff.

I was thinking BOF and Wildflower, but those aren't nearly as wuss laiden as Open All Night, You Had Me From Hello or She's A Mystery.

I wasn't counting These Open Arms as it's not on the US version. If you count bonus tracks, then Crush and Bounce would have a few more - We Can Dance, Breathe. Then again, some rockers were left off of Crush and Bounce as well.

Wimpy, wuss laiden, whatever... None of these is better than another in any way. (imo)

Oh come on! Say what you will about the overall quality of those two songs but you can't say they have wimpy, wuss laiden vocals. Jon pushes voice to the max on both of those tracks. Bells Of Freedom has one of the rawest, most powerful and impassioned vocals that any Bon Jovi track ever has to date, and Wildflower also has a very strong vocal.

I don't know how you classify "a wuss laden vocal" but a quiter vocal certainly dosen't, nor shouldn't, be classified as a wussy and whiny vocal. Mystery Train is a great example. I love the song but I can certainly understand why alot of fans don't like the song, and that's cool, but the vocal fits the music. Would a Keep The Faith style vocal work with music like this? I don't think so.
It's not whiny since Jon dosen't sing though his nose and it's not a wussy vocal because you actually hear emotion and depth to his vocal. That's my opinion anyway...............lol

I wasn't on about the vocals only but the whole songs.
They all suck huge time in their own way each, but I'm unable to tell which is actually the worst.

Now for BOF and Wildflower, they're typical type of song Jon sucks at. He acts powerful, compared to early 90's when he was powerful it's pretty weak, and impassioned but that actually makes it worse imo because Jon is a terrible "actor" when he sings, see what I mean? He sounds fake.

Now when the lyrics are lousy and the music's a rehash, as it is for BOF, it makes that passionate wannabe style ridiculous and the whole song a bad joke. Same with a song like Right Side of Wrong.

Raw, powerful and impassioned? Listen to Santa Fe, Never Say Goodbye, Blood On Blood, Wild is The Wind, I Believe, Save a Prayer,... among many, I'm sure I'd think of some in recent times as well... BOF stands nowhere near.

That's the worst bullshit you've released in a while, and since it's you, that's something.

BOF raw? Powerful? Impassioned? Hell no. It's anything but. It's Jon in his rockstar mode, thinking he could pull something like that, but he fails miserably. Plus he's ripping off the chorus to This Ain't A Love Song, which BTW, had some feeling in the chorus. BOF doesn't.

Totally disagree, ok Krycek may have been slightly over exaggerating with the most impassioned vocal in Bon Jovi history. I do think he sings both BOF and Wildflower with real warmth and feeling though. He at least sounds like he's pushing himself vocally unlike a lot of other recent songs.

I never said "The most impassioned vocal ever", I said, "ONE of the most impassioned vocal performances ever".
