And where did you get that from??? Never heard that one in my life!
Me neither.

Proof Freddie is the best........Live Aid 1985, Mother Love (Made In Heaven album, 1995)

Read it in a biography of Gary Moore... Thin Lizzy were also unable to fly their "Thin Lizzy" logo banner during their own sets because of publicity... their sets were also shorterned due to Freddys insecurity

As I can't get a hold of my biography at the moment.. when did Queen supposedly play for or with Thin Lizzy?
I also think it strange that Gary Moore said this, considering he has always praised Queen and Freddie in the past

he is full of praise... but these things stood out... has alot of in detail stuff about this tour.

Phil would use needle drugs between his toes so that his mum would not see the marks on his arms when they caught up :S

Not sure of the year.. sorry

*On a side note.. I read on a ACDC site about this, how about this for a gig... ACDC -> Aerosmith -> headlining Thin Lizzy

even if this was true, it doesn't make Mercury any less of a frontman.

They all have their little quabbles and games they play....

This is so true!! And I'm sorry I can't imagine anyone being intimidated by Phil Lynott.... considering as well that Queen also had INXS as an opener.. he should have been more intimidated by Michael Hutchence if anyone!

The real order should be Mercury, then Plant. Scot is overrated.
Thank you!! I was thinking the same! Freddie number 2?? Not right!
I agree with you. Freddie is number one, no doubt about it.

Freddie no sex appeal?? That is a matter of opinion!! I know enough women who would have given their right arm to be with Freddie and the fact that he was gay has nothing to do with it. I also think that is quite a lame statement.. and he wasn't gay he was bi, therefore appealing to both. Freddie had girlfriends as well. Anyway, not going to defend Freddie's sexuality as that is not credible in whether or not he had sex appeal. In addition Phil Lynott was a skinny little thing.. he looked like he would break! That is not sexy.. to me!
