If the frontman is a fantastic performer, that is all that counts.

Well apparently sex appeal counts to be a good frontman.. never knew that either..

sex appeal doesnt make a good frontmen... but it certainly helps.. girls would rather reach out and grab @ jbj rather then the likes of gary moore.. u know wat i mean?

a more attractive frontment is gonna be noticed... thats how the industry has become, doesnt seem to be about the music anymore does it..

Though, I agree that sex appeal absolutely adds into whether or not someone is a great frontman. However, sex appeal comes from the way someone moves and behaves, not as much from ones looks. Mercury wasn't what we would think handsome, but once he was on stage he was SEXY. It is a whole package thing.

I think only men are weirded out by another guy's sexual orientation. To women it doesn't matter so much as usually we only drool anyway - no actual intention on getting into his pants.

u definately ahve to be a showman to be a frontman, I dont think it takes sexuality to be a good front man , you just ahve to be entertaining.
