No. Everything released on vinyl in the eighties was remastered and put on the Japanese Remaster 2CD series in 1998. The hardest live stuff to track down is that coming off rare promo's from the early zero's.

Salaam Aleikum,

The version of Shot Through The Heart on the UK 12" of In And Out of Love has never been put out on CD. This was mentioned a few posts ago, it's not the same as the version that was released as a"Vault" extra on the expanded editions as suggested, that was just a different edit/mix of the Japan 85 version. This one was recorded at the same gig as the version of Roulette and is 100% definitely different.

Thanks for the info. Did not know this. Always thought they re-cycled the same Japan 1985 tracks on all releases.

I've always hated most of those versions, given that plenty of them have mistakes. Never understood why - of all their live recordings - they chose those.

I had no idea that there were additional tracks on the digital versions though, now I need them - especially I Want To Be Loved! Thankx for the info.

Laziness and not really having an idea of how to do it. Case in point: out of this list, Tokyo had had countless releases, Bremen had been mixed for the radio broadcast, the Chicago 2007 tracks had been taken from the release, Central Park had been mixed for a Japanese TV show and the WWWB documentary, some of the 80's bonus tracks were most likely from the never-finished Eggs&Whiskey live album. The list goes on...

I have the Lie to Me maxi - the version with live versions of Something for The Pain, Always and KTF. I've tried to rip the songs to add them to my iTunes library, but Always bugs everytime. Is it my CD or do you guys have the same issue?

Yes, that exact one - every single time I'm trying to extract Always, it stops right before Richie's solo. It drives me nuts.
