In an interview Jon did before the BWC tour, he was talking about writing for Stand Up Guys and he said that both he and Richie were going to do some of their solo stuff on the tour. IIRC, he specifically referenced Stand Up Guys and AOTL. I thought maybe that's why he included them on the deluxe editions - so some of the fans would be familiar with them.
That's the only reason I could think of to explain why solo songs were included. But it's just a guess.
