Pearl Jam does it too - via download, available the next day.

Unless you mean a video of the show, there is an audio bootleg out there of one of the two nights that they played there - and the quality is really good!

Nice catch there brains. The point is, if he's willing to do something like the Box-Set then he's obviously not "too careful" about what gets out of the vaults.

Sorry Phil, I think Seb wins this one. He is specifically talking about live footage, as it wouldn't contrast that well with todays live performances

No he's not. If he'd be, there'd be lots of DVD's from older shows by now. There's a reason why songs from the KTF, TD and Jersey Tour aren't on the live album. Because they're just too good and make the rest sound like crap.

Yeah, Seb is definately right on this one. A lot of fans would feel cheated if they seen a show from the late 80's - mid 90's followed by a recent show. Stage presence, jons voice, energy, song selection..etc...

I'd say the only thing today's shows have over the shows of the late 80's is that they're longer. The shows on the New Jersey tour consisted of about 12-14 songs, and lasted no more than 90 minutes (with a few exceptions.)
