that's the only thing? Surely you must be kidding...

No, not really.

The staging, lighting, sound of the band, Jon's voice were all better in the late 80's than they are today.

What else can you think of about today's show is better than the 80's shows?

Oh yeah.

I was watching an old show from 1989 in Maryland the other night. It was unreal. It didn't seem like it was just a job to Jon then. He was actually having fun. Granted, he was only 27 then, but it was still amazing compared to his stage presence nowadays.

Nope - Mine's shitty too. Got a slightly better one of the Philly show from that year, but nothing great.

Damn it's freaking hard to get a decent copy of that show. Been looking to upgrade for a long time already. Only pro shot version available of Wild Is The Wind.

That's why I got it. Even with the crap quality, still sounded like it was amazing live back then.

Why doesn't the band release any of the shows in their "vaults" from say, 1987-1993? Some of their best live performances are from this era - They MUST know this. I can't imagine it would cost aolt of money to release previously recorded shows.

Anyone know the answer to this?
Because Jon would need to pay Alec some money...
