Correct, though Bon Jovi was attended by more people.

Also, Queen's concert was in 1976, Freddie died in 1991.

It sure was a great setlist and the bootleg sounds great. I was gonna go, but it turned out I got tickets for the Manchester gig instead which was better for me as I live in the north west.

I think Hyde Park was one of the best shows I've seen. But that's also becasue of the atmosphere and being part of a very large crowd.

But you could see that Jon wasn't feeling too well?? I really didn't notice that. People say that he was also sick in Gelsenkirchen, but I didn't notice that either... is it just me or are there more people who think that he wasn't that bad?

Kiel kicked ass too. I watched it yesterday and Jon was on fire during that show, especially during the electrical part.

I agree with you 100 percent. Jon seemed like he wasn't feeling too well. It shows in his face, voice and entire performance.
But Mouse darling...you were not there
Watching the DVD showed the true story. Honestly though, I saw the clips on the DVD, and the fact that Jon wasn't 100 percent really showed.
I was there and I still think the show is overrated. Sure it was a good show, but it had a standard setlist. And for it being the last European show, I sort off expected all the great things (acoustic stuff, Something To Believe In, I Believe again etcetera) from the entire European tour in one show. But it had just a standard setlist. You can all start about the encore but These Days just doesn't sound good anymore, and the other songs weren't that special either for being an encore.

Amsterdam was a standard show as well with the exception of I Believe but Jon was on fire during that show. He was in a much, much better shape then in Hyde Park where his voice was struggling which can be noticed very well during Bounce and later on These Days. Thierry kept saying Mannheim was better (I wasn't there) but the best show I've seen during the Bounce tour definitely was Amsterdam. There was a better atmosphere too in the Amsterdam arena, much more people were into it despite the fact that it was very hot in there. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I left disappointed, not at all, but I expected a little bit more after hearing the stories about Mannheim, Erfurt and Vienna.

This show is only rated this high because the big crowd and it being the last show of the European tour. Not because of the performance itself since there were better ones during the European tour.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I don't consider These Days, Never Say Goodbye, a guest performance a standard setlist.

I wasn't there btw. I wonder if they knew they were gonna release parts of it. I remember the Oompas once answering a question why not releasing shows since everything is filmed by saying a dvd-show needs more camera work, notice the lack of crowd shots in the songs that were at the new year suprise (Boston, Minneapolis). Hyde Park did have some crowd shots, so they needed the camera's. I was at Amsterdam and there weren't any camera behind filming the crowd or those flying camera. Hyde Park did had those. Why?

As do I agree. People here kept raving about it and the footage on TLFR Live...all I saw was a tired band who wanted to go home, which makes sense. I wouldn't want them to release yet another Live video that captures them running low.

Live in London works because it was filmed early in the tour. One Last Wild Night works alright because they managed to get a shot of adrenalin...but they don't actually sound that great.
