Well it was released in 95, and I think it might have something to do with that fact that videos had a maximum running time back then. If theyd have done that show now, it would have been almost the full show like the Crush tour. Lets just hope they still have the whole footage somewhere for a PROPER DVD release in the future

I seriously doubt they had maximum running times of just 90 minutes, lol....not even back in the 70's. Titanic was released at about the same time I think, and that would have been released on VHS. Also, standard movies are 2 hours+. and they're available on VHS, so I very much doubt the running time had anything to do with it.

I think it may be different for concerts though. No concert videos I owned were more than 90 mins long. (Ok someone will prob prove me wrong here :P ) but what im trying to say is they are only now releasing full concerts because of the introduction of the DVD

Well just for one example: http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=211798

This is a 2 video set but the running time is still 207 minutes, so each wud probably be 100 minutes or more.

I think it's due to the opportunities a DVD offers you. You can't skip on a VHS tape for example. 90 to 100 minutes was sort of a standard length for feature films. Longer concerts on a tape would become boring. And you always have to rewind them... It just wasn't usual to release too much music stuff. Look around now, music DVDs are popping up every here and there like there is no tomorrow.

I know, but it had definitely nothing to do with the max running time of a VHS.

the live from london video was collated from performances over the three nights. there is a soundboard bootleg available of the last night, which came from a recording on bbc radio 1 including all of the songs you mentioned.

Now I been told that in 1995, a limited edition of the vhs was released containing the missing songs mentioned earlier, (indeed early info on play.com etc gave details of the extended version, but then only sent out the allready available vhs version) I cant find it anywhere, and presume that I been given bad info, but can anyone shed any light on this???
