I was at Live 8 in Philly and happen to agree with Phil actually.  And I just watched the taped performance of the songs. I think he sounded very good. His voice was nasal free and clear. |
As long as he sang in a low key, that is.
It's My Life and Prayer sounded crap, the new song was alright but had never the power Jon's studiovocals have.
