Default Livin' On A Prayer Green Vinyl

Just bought thsi vinyl for £5.
What can you people tell me about this vinyl. It's from 1986.
With Prayer as A-side and Wild In The Streets and Edge Of A Broken Heart as B-sides. Exellent condition

eil.com price it £15.

When was Edge Of A Broken Heart first released official. Was it on the Always single?

This was one of the first Bon Jovi vinyl's I got, think I paid about £4 for it myself as the sleeve was water-damaged, but the record itself is fine.

I think that Edge Of A Broken Heart was written for Slippery When Wet, but as it wasn't on the album then I'd presume one of those singles was the first time it had been officially released. I know I have it on the Always single too, and the remaster on the boxset.

Edge of a Broken Heart was officially released on The Disorderlies soundtrack, around 1987.

Ok thanks
I gotta admit the coverphoto is awful. I don't even have word to decribe Richie.
It's science fiction that some people must have come the the conclution that
"This cover will sell a lot of records!"

Aloha !

Your green vinyl version was a limited edition 12" single for Livin' On A Prayer in the UK. The other, regular, 12" single contained 2 live tracks and had a gatefold sleeve.

Edge Of A Broken Heart was a small radio hit only in the USA and peaked at number 38 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart, but did not hit the Hot 100 chart. It was in that chart for only 1 week, but the song made it there because of the requests from many fans all over the US. The record company had never send out any promo's to radio stations.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I have the Bon Jovi Most Requested CD which is marked up as a radio promo album, which had the song edge of a broken heart on it. Looking to sell all my stuff though

I've just moved house and the albums at my parents house so can't get anymore information about it ie. release date.
