Doesn't explain why they didn't fix all the feedback "beeps" at the beginning for example. But great find (and great show, never knew about that one )

Sometimes they got recorded by external microphones set up at the mixing desk to capture the audience as well. Technically, it's not a SBD source then, but you'd need to have an insanely good background knowledge on each single recording to determine that for sure. What also degraded the quality was the way some shows were recorded off the radio. There were tons of promo broadcasts from Jon's DA gigs and they all differ greatly in quality, mainly due to how someone recorded them.
I'm not too certain about TV broadcasts. I've always assumed that they came from the SBD feed, but then again there's Rio 1990 where the mix of Tokyo Road (B-side later on) was far superior to the one of the TV broadcast.
Ok, that makes sense. I think it's probably true that they used microphones for the TV broadcasts, but I'm not sure, either. But that would explaind why I was confused, because Pro Shot not neccessarily equals SBD, and it's a shame that some of those recordings are not as pristine as today

That's just Jon being the workaholic he is. Replacing the odd dodgy vocal or guitar part is not like replacing some guys whole bass parts with another guys. Also a TV broadcast that will be seen my millions is probably a bit different to a B-side, that only the hardcore fans will really care about. But yeah, I guess it's possible. I'm sure that they overdubbed some vocals on live B-sides though and Richie's solo in Always at Wembley 95, for example, is completely different to the one that ended up on the B-side. I actually think the version he played was much better and more interesting, they just made it the same as the album version solo on the B-Side....

I don't approve with overdubbing live stuff in any case. If it says "live" then it should be live...

Are you sure the solo has been overdubbed and you're not confusing nights 1 and 2?

They covered up quite a few parts (also for the DVD release). When the solo started Richie played a giant bum note on night 3 that can be heard in the original radio broadcast.

Does anyone have a list of soundboard songs from each show??? Or additional sound boards that aren't on the live broadcast???

Talking about SBDS & leaked pro-shot videos...This double CD (from Japan I guess) is sound-wise as good as official releases / Cincinnatti 1987...so I wonder what's the source?

It was leaked in 2013 by one of the websites where fans can buy live music. The other leaks were An Evening with Bon Jovi (2 full rehearsals + 2 full shows), among few others...

Yep, Wolfgang's Vault. I think it might've had some connection to MTV since most of the other leaked shows were broadcasted by them (Times Square '95 / An Evening With BJ).

ok thanks, so is the leaked master audio lossless then? And if so someone should've compiled a nice bootleg-CD-box of all the "An Evening with...." audio.
