Considering he sung it a full tone lower than the original (which makes a big difference vocally), i thought he could have carried off singing it all, not relying on audience participation/backing vocals.

Like to see him win though as he is certainly a Bon Jovi fan

I'd like to see Tabby win for one reason:

It might make young impressionable pop-fed kids stand up and look beyond the talentless shit that is churned out by the track-load by today's music industry. If he wins a popular show aimed at the younger public audience, it might herald the acknowledgement (and maybe even transgression to) the older rock dominated era of the 80s.

Maybe I'm being optimistic but if a rocky, confident 'musician' can win one of these made-for-tv competitions it might perhaps set things moving in the right direction. Who knows?

I saw it and I thought Tabby did very well, better than a lot of others who have tried to sing a Jovi song.

Tabby has said he is a big Jovi fan.

What I did notice is Sharon Osbourne (tabbys mentor ) works with a guy with a blue beard that helps style tabby or something, well to my shock this guy is also on the Boxset DVD sitting in the studio behind Jon, anyone know who he is ?

Yeah, look at the impact Hear'say, Girls Aloud, Will Young and that big lass have had on the music industry.

It'd be nice to have rock back in the spotlight, but I can't see it happening just on this guy's success.
