Looks or music?

I think everyone can agree that Jon is a very goodlooking man. I got into BJ because of the music, and stay with them because of the music. Jon's goodlooks are a bonus

I'll be honest, I listened to Bon Jovi for the first time because Jon's beautiful face caught my attention. I stayed listening because of the music.

Jon Bon Jovi has always been and will always be my ultimate fantasy, but I need more than a gorgeous face and a killer smile to keep me listening for 17 years. I mean I love Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones too, and their frontmen are, well, just plain ugly.

Bon Jovi isn't still around because of their looks. Looks won't keep you popular for 20 years and looks won't sell out the Meadowlands stadium and arena 4 times in one year. You need the talent to back you up. And they obviously have the talent. The fact that they are eye candy is just an extra perk for those of us who like to look at them.

As I was reading the post, I kept thinking, "Of course I got into Bon Jovi because of their music...duh..." But then it hit me, lol...the first time i saw Bon Jovi was the "It's My Life" video, and the very first thing I thought was, "Wow, that guy is soooo cute...look at that smile!!"

So umm....embarrassing, but after that, it had to be the music. I mean, it really doesn't make sense to me to buy a cd just because the band is hot. Jons looks are very good at getting people to notice the band, but if a band is not talented, no amount of looks are going to make them popular enough to stick around on the music scene for 20 years.

im into them cos of the music not looks (its an optional extra, bonus thing) and i think most ppl on this board are too, but its different on other boards. just look at the discussions we have had about the backstage bimbos...

to me it's not the music, and not the looks. good music is all over the place, and good looks are there too... it's about the energy, this band has enough energy to generate electriciy for china!! i wonder if someday we can plug jon and see what happens :P

Music!(although Jon and Richieare hotties,that's an extra bonus!
