I have listened to it quite often, which I guess is the real test of an album. It's not a fantastic album, but good enough.

The tracks work well together- although We Got It Going On is still a bit strange- but I very rarely put it on just to listen to a certain track. I tend to want to listen to the album as a whole, rather than mixed with other Jovi tracks. I'm the same with the solo albums, so maybe I see the whole 'country twang' thing as a detour rather than the progression of the band.

The highlight of the album for me has been Make A Memory. That IS one song I listen to a lot. It struck a chord with me and I can probably claim it as one of my favourite songs ever now.

Iīve been listening to it quite a lot. A decent album but not a masterpiece. I have to say it too, I expected it to be a lot worse than it actually turned out to be. I was afraid weīd get something like TLFR part II and we actually got a proper BJ album with one or two almost classic tracks (mainly AOD). Itīs not my favorite BJ album but for me it sounds nonetheless convincing and professional. It just brings me down to realise how much cigarette smoking has affected Jonīs voice. (Anyway, he still hits higher notes than Johnny Cash did...)

IMO the best LH song didnīt make the album: Walk Like A Man. Could somebody please inform me who wrote it? Obviously Jon by himself?

Still love it. The only songs I don't listen to are One Step closer and The Last Night.

And I love We Got It Goin' On, I don't care how crap you guys think it is

Exactly! We can't have songs with though about lyrics all the time.

Memory IS a masterpiece. When it came out, it had that "wow"-effect that no single release of the 00s did to me since IML. I was thinking "they're back making magic". After the IML/Everyday/HAND formula it was so refreshing and brave to release such an intimate song as a first single. But it worked for me - I was hooked. And I still adore this song, as it climebed up into my top 10 list of BJ songs.

The album as a whole doesn't hold up to this standard, but it has grown. I now get the point of it. It has some songs I had huge problems with at the beginning, such as "Summertime" or "The Last Night", as they're just lame and boring, musically and lyrically way behind the standards of the band's best songwriting. But they all grew on me and went together to a picture I like to look at a lot, or in this case, an album I like to listen to a lot. By now it has beaten "Bounce" (where I find the production just annoying). LH is so much more relaxed, and therefore well balanced. HAND may have the better individual songs, but LH has something about it. Something which makes up for the poor and idea-less craft "like "Everybody's Broken" - not a real good song, but I really like it.
The flow is good. Not every song is a standout, but as I said, I now get the point, the source of inspiration for the band to write it. It's no TD, but the overall feeling is in some ways similar with all the divorces and stuff in the background.

My favourite post 2000 album is "Crush" and will probably ever be, but LH is the album I enjoy the most at the moment. Standout tracks are "Lost Highway" and "Make A Memory". These I consider as real BJ classics. The rest works just well within the concept of the album.

MAM was an awful single choice.
Especially as a first single.
Something like AOD or WGIGO would probably off been better.

I love Everybodys brokem, don't know why so many people dislike it.

Memory is one of the very best songs, they've done in quite a while. It has something about it.....brilliant!!! The first time I heard it, I was like "yup, gonna be one of my favourites!" Everything about it is awesome.

My opinion: I like it, don't love it. It depends what mood I am in. I listened to it on the way to hockey once and just wanted to sleep afterwards. Lyrically it is pretty good, but musically it could be better, though it could have been a lot worse.

I don't mind We Got It Goin On, but I don't like the interlude part with big(or rich) talking.

I have no likeness for ILTT, this just has to go.

Memory is pretty good, lyrically it is good, though I think another verse might have been in order.

I think what kills it for me is all the mid tempo stuff on the later half of the album. Not a good track ordering thats for sure.
