Default Love Hurts

I was listening to this song today and checked on my files, it seems to be recorded 2 times for the New Jersey, one with perfect quality and the other one it is really hard to hear the voice, also, I was reading on the internet and it is an article where Jon said that he tried to use the song for the Keep the Faith record but it doesn't says more. Any idea?? anyone has it?

Most songs were recorded at least 3 or 4 times during various demo and pre-production processes at that time. There are two versions of Love Hurts around - one from the Pre-Production demos where Jon's vocals are barely audible and one that was released on the New Jersey Deluxe edition (and I think it was identical to the demo that had been around before that).

Are you sure you're not mixing it up with Let's Make It Baby? I never read about Love Hurts, but I wouldn't put it past Jon to have digged it back up for Keep The Faith. The theme somehow fits the mood he was in during the grey summer period in 1991 and they had centered the songs on Keep The Faith around Diamond Ring which didn't make the album in the end either.

Did you notice the lyric of Love Hurts is different on the booklet from the song?
Some demo has that lyric...

No my beloved BonJovi90 it says Love hurts, Bed of Roses, Miracle (that was on the Young guns record) & Outlaws of Love. I am sure bed of Roses should be the one that was showed on MTV and Outlaws of Love should be the one on the box set

it says: We tried some songs from the New Jersey record that didn't make it.
We tried, they sounded so similar that it was like a second edition of the New Jersey so we just took them off. We started working with songs like Bed of Roses, Fields of Fire, It's Only Rock N' Roll and some others that we wrote during the New Jersey Tour and our solo's time. but the big kick-ass came when we joined Desmond Child and wrote some of our biggest hits.

It's Only Rock N Roll is a cover they did in '93. You sure its not blame it on the love of rock and roll? And Miracle too?

I need to read this article... post a link please...

Sure I will... I could pay for the full article and surely I will share it with you... it was an VH1 interview from 1995

P: Why Miracle again?
J: I felt that song was so Bon Jovi that we needed our own version but, then I Want You came on the way and you know... didn't make it

I don't believe any of that for a second... You're saying that Jon released Miracle as a single for YG2 and then wanted to put it on KTF? Was this a live interview? And you never answer the Rock and Roll question.

first, why are you so gressive?
second, I am telling you what I am reading, and I was going to pay for the full article... but you know what? everytime I share something on some forum and I get treated as a liar it makes me sick... I am not a professional bon jovi fan as you are, I don't own all the bon jovi records as you might do. Nevermind
