Default Lumpy died

That's sad, Richie's old guitar tech has died.

At least during the Bounce, Have a nice day and lost highway tour. He developed the black and white tamagotchi guitar that Richie used those tours.

During the Circle and later tours, I remember a Korean guy, or from somewhere else of Asia. He is a different guy than Lumpy, right?

Sad to hear this, he seemed like a really cool guy. I think the last thing that he did related to the band was guitar tech duties for Jon (and Bobby?) on both of his 2009 fan club shows. Anybody know if he worked with Richie at all during the Aftermath tour?

He was the guy that Takumi replaced. I'm pretty sure he was with the band in the 90's up until Lost Highway, but I could be wrong.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lumpy backstage once for a few minutes backstage in Osaka on the Hand tour . He was very friendly and offered me food in the catering room funny too ,he had sorta long scruffy hair and he was combing it with a dinner fork He didnt seem up himself like a lot of roadies .

Yeah, that guy is Takumi Suetsugu, who also worked with Richie at least in his 2014 tour (don't know about 2012).

Takumi also worked on Richie's 2012 tour.

In the video below is a short interview with Lumpy from 3:22 on.
He built various guitars for Richie. Not only the black-white Sambora model but a couple more he played during the 2004 Borgata show and during the HAND tour. And I think to remember that he also built the silver guitar Richie used for Lay Your Hands On Me on the Crush and Bounce tours.
