Make Your Own Setlist.

It's about 3:00 AM where I am, and am on extreme pain medication, and I can't sleep. So I decided to do something different....

This is the create your own Bon Jovi setlist. You may say, "Hey, isn't this like posting our favorite 20 or so songs performed live" .... but NO.... unfortunately, there are rules.

Rule #1 You may choose any era you like, but you can't include songs that were recorded later. For example, if you choose the Keep The Faith tour, songs like These Days and It's My Life can not be added.

Rule #2 You can not exceed the average set length of the set list of the said tour. For example, if you choose the New Jersey tour, around fourteen songs is the maximum, where as if you choose the Lost Highway tour, you could include around twenty five songs.

Rule #3 The These Days/Crossroads tour can not be included, partly because I want to make this interesting. As everyone would choose this tour due to an average of 2.5 hours per show, and the ability to include a lot more songs, without venturing into the new millennium (which some people do not like)

Rule #4 Hits, and songs that apply to that specific tour must be included (for example, if choosing LH tour, Lost Highway (song) must be included and at least 2 other LH songs. Hits that must be included (unless choosing a previous year before the song was played) are: Wanted Dead Or Alive, Lost Highway, Living On A Prayer, It´s My Life, Who Says You Can´t Go Home?, You Give Love A Bad Name, Bad Medicine, Born To Be My Baby, Whole Lot Of Leavin´, Have A Nice Day, We Got It Goin´ On.


Rule #5 Keep the setlists in a format seen at least a few times (for example, don't put bad name at the end of an encore)



Keep in mind that the tour you choose also reflects on how Jon's voice is. So if you choose the Bounce/OWN tour, you have to deal with Jon's slowly failing vocals. But if you choose the KTF or LH tour, the vocals are good, but you have to suffer the consequences of both (referring to people who don't like LH at all, and people who want These Days songs in there setlist)


And if you don't agree with my rules, then don't do it.... I am very tired (but can't sleep!) and am kind of curious to what people will put.....

Interesting idea. Here's mine. I am actually using a real setlist from March 5, 1993, Chicago, IL as a basis. I replaced the overrated BOG with I'd Die For You. I also swapped the running order of ITA and BOB, so it becomes the all holy and legendary BOBITA.

I chose the greatest era, which is KTF. Jon still sounded awesome, they actually had a bass player who rocked and sang well, and they played their Stairway To Heaven, "In These Arms" very frequently.
