MAM best ever?

I'm just not feeling it the way others are. I like Jon (and especially Richie's) vocals in the song, but there's way too little guitars and drums. Not enough lyrics either.

Saying it's their best ballad since This Ain't A Love Song really isn't much. However, I will say, from the box set, The One That Got Away did more for me than this one.

I think Make a Memory really won't do that well with sucess. It will be on the charts, then be throwed off by a rapper or something. I think Any Other Day will do the best off the album, which I think is the best song on the album.

I did post that didn't I? Lol. I had to listen to Any Other Day some more to make my desision over Make A Memory.

I think MAM will be their first UK no one...

Never gonna happen. If it's even released in the UK it will never make it to number one. It could be a hit on radio over here but they wont promote it in the UK so it wont take off.

It's a good tune, but not the best ballad or song they've ever done.... Not by a long shot. They have guts to choose to go this direction because the only market that will only embrace it is America's country scene.... Since Country music is basically American bread, I think they are cutting themselves off from a lot of outlets that would normally support them.... We'll see how it pans out, I still think it could prove to be one of their best albums in years.
