Me Vs. Oompas(my question on Q&A)

Yes they get interesting questions, but don't answer them. Find me a question of which you think is interesting, concerns any information about something we didn't know and I'll take my words back. Or are you saying that information about what made Richie's cowboy hat is made of is an interesting question?

They complain about getting the same tour questions because they can't answer them. But they receive a lot of questions about the fanclub, or about what made Richie's hat is, Jon's sunglasses and so on. I never hear them complain about that, like "use the search function" or whatever. Because they're capable of answering those.

And that poll was silly. No one calls their 8th album One. There was no way that poll was actually really for the interest of the fans. Also, what makes you think The Oompas put that poll up? It's not like the Oompas run the entire bonjovi.com site now is it? If you'd think they do, that's just silly. Just like the people who believe that Ms. Bon Jovi runs backstage.

I didnt like any of the options either but it didnt mean that I thought it was a fix. BJ dont seem to be to good at picking album names so that made me think that the options were real

I am not going to find you a question that I think is interesting as Im sure you would find some reason to shoot it down. Another point Seb is some fans dont have the same knowledge as you ,so you have to be patient and let them learn about BJ , it might be boring for you but as I said BJ.com have to cater for everyone.

I dont know if it was Oompas himself or someone else who put the poll up but whoever did is part of BJ.com Im sure Bj had a final say in a poll that could change their album name. I didnt think it was silly at all as the names were so bad I thought it made it quite realistic as BJ are terrible at choosing album names unfortunately. Mrs BJ has people running the site for her but Im sure she still plays a part in final decisions same as Jovi do.

I'm not asking you to browse thru 40 pages to find interesting questions. Read the first 2 pages with questions and you'll see that you can't learn anything from the Oompas as they don't answer the questions that are interesting.

Well let's see. They've got a complete theory behind the name Bounce and then give us other options like One (who calls their 8th album One? ), Undivided (they're not a boyband now are they?) and another silly option. Anyone could see that the poll wouldn't affect the final decision.

There are people who think that Mrs. B tells people how to moderate backstage. There are backstagers that don't say specific things because Mrs. B. might read it and decide to ban her. I mean, WTF who believes such crap?

And do you really think Bon Jovi knows how the Oompas answer those questions? Do you really think they log in each day to check what questions are asked? When the site was designed they talked about what would be on there, and for the rest it's up to the webmasters how it all will look and will work. Duh.

I didnt say I or you would learn anything from Q+A sections but as I said other people might, they questions and answers section is there for everyone at all levels of BJ knowledge and fandom.

The reasons for their Bounce album title pole being a set up I do disagree with you, One is a strange title, but no stranger than Bounce, we have a train operator here called One and thats stupid also. Undivided being a boy band, why do you presume that Jovi would even know that. I think it makes more sense to believe that the band are just terrible picking album titles rather than there was some big scheme to fix the vote. They dont need to give anyone a poll, they have enough fans to buy the any album dispite the title name. I wish they would employ someone to help them with their titles.

Being a moderator is part of my job and from this I understand that the head of any organisation does decide how their boards are moderated, even this board is decided that way. So I think Mrs B did say how the boards would be run from the early outset. I do think BJ look at their own boards and Q + A section, maybe not everyday but they look , Jon is to much of a business man to not look at all aspects of his business at some point .
